Aleksandar JOVANOVIC

NZTA  Appointed Specialist Repair Certifier @ Alex Certification Ltd.

Hello and welcome to Alex Certification Ltd. Whether you need certification for write-offs, previously repaired vehicles, or re-registration, you have come to the right place. We're proud of our reputation for being honest and trustworthy, and we'll work with you to find the best solution for your situation. Our mission as a young and dedicated repair certification business is to ensure the complete satisfaction of each and every one of our clients through the delivery of superior services in a timely manner that are backed by clear and open lines of communication.

Alex's childhood fascination with automobiles led to early career opportunities in the automobile industry. Beginning with a panel-beating apprenticeship at the age of fourteen in his hometown of Sabac (Serbia), he took a shot at a scope of vehicles and kept on building up his abilities. Alex could pick up understanding and climb the ranks in each shop he worked in by following his enthusiasm from the start. At the same time, Alex has started his educational journey by enrolling in the competitive Technical Vocational School, which paved his path towards being awarded the "Best Student of the Generation" and, soon enough, becoming a well-known panel beater.

After nearly 20 years of a panel beating career in Serbia, Alex got a chance to join View Road Panel & Paint (Auckland, NZ) as the owner heard about his capabilities and hired him after a short meeting back in 2015.

During his work in Serbia and Auckland, Alex has dealt almost exclusively with substantial damage and structural repairs. In View Rd Panel & Paint, he has been repairing Australian Statutory write-offs and New Zealand written-off vehicles. In his work, Alex fixed all types of cars from Japanese and Korean to European and American, trucks, vans, SUVs, hybrid, and electric vehicles. Moreover, fire-damaged and water-affected vehicle repairs were quite common, as well.

Alex also expanded his panel beating expertise and automotive industry knowledge by attending various I-CAR courses and earning a Silver Recognition. Furthermore, Alex was fortunate to work with and learn from experienced certifying professionals who guided him through the rules and regulations of the New Zealand automotive industry. Hence, he became very interested in broadening his knowledge further, leading him to obtain A National Certificate in Motor Industry (Levels 3 and 4).

In November 2020, Alex was appointed as a Light Vehicle Repair Certifier after successfully passing a thorough NZTA assessment.
